Dr. Zhang Chaozhi is a professor of tourism at Sun Yat-sen University, his research focuses on heritage and cultural tourism, destination development and management, sustainable tourism. He has published around 130 papers in both international and domestic peer reviewed journals and five books in the past two decades. He served as the UNESCO Chair holder on Sustainable Tourism in UNESCO Designated Sites, and expert member on several international organizations such as World Economic Forum, ICOMOS-ICTC, IUCN-WCPA and UNWTO-MCSTO in the area of sustainable tourism, he also served as editorial board member for several top tier international and domestic academic journals, etc.
