Mohamed Iqbal Rawther

Datuk Seri Mohamed Iqbal Rawther is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (“FCIB”), London and an Emeritus Fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Management, Malaysia. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, both from University of Malaya. He also has professional certificates from the Institute of Education, University of Birmingham, UK; and the Harvard Business School, USA.

He is currently the Group Deputy Chairman of Farlim Group (Malaysia) Berhad, a company listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. He is Pro-Chancellor of Binary University a private university dedicated to management and entrepreneurship and an Adjunct Professor at the Graduate School of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia.

He is Emeritus Chairman of the Business Advisory Council of United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) and Malaysian representative at the East Asian Business Council (EABC). He is involved in regional and international organizations such as Malaysia-Japan Economic Association (as Vice President) and Malaysia Global Business Council (as President).
