Strategic IP Management in China Film and Creative Industries

The Year 2015 is known as beginning of an “IP Era”. With increasing implement and circulation, IP is continuously changing the ecology of film and creative industries in terms of content, talent, capital, channels, etc.

On the one hand, IP acts as new inspiration for film makers, Internet tycoons, leaders in music, literature, animation, game and entertainment industries. On the other hand, IP breaks the industry barriers, thus greatly enhancing industry convergence.

As IP-related projects keep spring up, how to define “good IP"? How will IP change the landscape of film and cultural industries? How can the “IP generation” film makers protect IP and maximize its value?
